When these homeowners in Capitola, CA envisioned a special space for their young daughters, they wanted more than just a playroom—they wanted a room that would grow with their family. The immediate need was to organize toys, dress-up clothes, and books, while also creating a layout that could easily transition into a hangout space and study room as the girls got older.
The custom design features closet shelving, built-in drawers, bookshelves, a spacious countertop that doubles as a desk, and closet rods to neatly organize dress-up clothes. Every element was thoughtfully planned to maximize storage while keeping the room open, functional, and inviting. Even with a challenging layout and deep side sections, the finished design makes excellent use of every inch of available space.
